September 15, 2011 Twelve adventurers from the Road Scholar program visited Point Lookout as part of their 5 day journey to discover Maryland's water and land based lights. PLLPS was happy to partner with Calvert Marine Museum to provide a special behind the scenes tour of our favorite lighthouse. Ghost stories were very popular with the "class", but the history of the area was also a lively topic. Participants haled from all areas of our country from Virginia to Portland, Oregon. We would like to thank all our matriculating scholars and we look forward to the class of 2012!
