First Annual Feel the History 5K Race/Walk October 9, 2011 Our first annual Feel the History 5K Race/walk was held on a beautiful Sunday morning, with well over 50 2 legged contestants and many 4 legged ones as well! All breeds joined in on the fun, but we did notice a lot of labradors on the course. We know these water dogs had a tough time concentrating on the course with all that water- and potential swimming opportunities- at every viewpoint on the race course. Our top 3 winners (and winning times) were: 1st place: Steve Sweeney- 24:28 2nd place: Troy Weatherly- 25:55 3rd place: Scott Boas- 26:20 Special thanks to Tad Ordoyne for photographing the race! If you would like full sized copies of any picture in the collection or to have Tad photograph your event, please email info@pllps.org
