The first cleanup day of the 2009 season was a resounding success! The slowing economy has reduced the number of PLLPS volunteers, however, everyone chipped in and really gave it their all. We cleaned the interior of the lighthouse in preparation for the April Open House; floors were swept and mopped, and windows were washed.

Candace cleans the lantern room. This would have been a daily routine task when the lighthouse was an active aide to navigation
