The final open house of the 2008 season saw 171 visitors to the crisp, sunny fall day. At 1 pm, PLLPS President Robert Hall recognized the efforts of the volunteers who made 2008 a very successful year for the Point Lookout Lighthouse Preservation Society. Volunteer and former resident of the lighthouse Eunice Knott was inducted into the lifetime members circle of the Point Lookout Lighthouse Preservation Society. We greatly value and appreciate the time that Eunice shares with our visitors. State Senator Roy Dyson was our very special guest for the final open house of the 2008 season. The raffle drawing was held; please see below for the winner's list.

We would like to thank everyone who visited the lighthouse this year and we look forward to seeing everyone again when we resume our monthly open house eventss on April 4, 2009. We would like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday season. As a reminder, a PLLPS membership is a great gift for that person on your list you has -almost- everything!
